Don Friedman Trio
A Day In The City : Six Variations On A Theme
Japanese reissue from 1982. Record is in exceptional shape. Cover has some wear and a torn obi. Nice copy overall. Friedman’s first as a leader and, imo, the pianist’s best.

This is an early mono pressing, called an interstitial pressing as it bears both first and second pressing labels (one on each side, obvs), so probably from 1958 or early 1959. Record has numerous marks on both sides and plays with underlying crackle but it's a Deep Groove pressing so the music rises above it. There are no skips or crazy pops or anything. Cover has split on top seam, right half, as well as the wear visible in the photos. $80
Original Italian pressing for the score of Swept Away. Excellent shape. Only copy I've ever seen. $70
Original box sets from 2014 and 2015. Each 5-vinyl set is limited to 2000 copies. Boxes have minor wear. Everything inside the boxes is minty. Ten pieces of 10" vinyl total. $110 for Volume I / $130 for Volume II / $200 for both Volumes.

Amazing copy of the 1957 mono deep groove Canadian pressing with teal labels. Record is in stellar shape. Cover has a tiny pin hole in each corner as if someone had hung it on a wall. There is also a very small split top right seam that you can sort of make out in the picture. Incredible copy. You'll not find one nicer. $180

Original American white label Promo. Generic Elektra paper sleeve has some splits and the foil-stamped and watermark-numbered cover has a small sawcut, but this is otherwise in remarkable shape. Pressed at the Specialty plant. $75
